Things to do with your toddler in London

This site aims to give information about what there is to do in London that parents can enjoy with toddlers and small children under five. London really is a great city for toddlers and small children. There are so many attractions, activites and things to do in the city that cater for children from one or two upwards. This site includes reviews of museums, playgrounds, parks, city farms, soft play areas that offer attractions and things to do for very young children.

Museums
Many museums in London cater for and hold activities for under 3s and under 5s. Check out The Science Museum , Mudlarks at the Museum of Docklands , The Horniman Museum and the National Maritime Museum

Playgrounds
London has playgrounds around every corner but Diana’s Memorial Playground is one particularly great playground right in the heart of Central London.
Parks
London is home to the most beautiful parks. Go to Holland Park if you want to see some peacocks. Check out my round up of all the and what there is for toddlers.
Soft/Indoor Play
There are lots of soft play areas in London. Check out toddler soft play areas in south east London as well as Mudlarks, at the Museum of Docklands
Aquariums
There is the London Aquarium, the Aquarium at London Zoo and the Horniman museum. Young children love looking at fish and London has lots of opportunities to see them.
Animals
Check out Mudchute farm which is free for all. Or if you fancy the bigger animals why not pop into London Zoo and enjoy the penguins, butterflies and birds as well.
